Wax Carving Workshop

Service Description

Come join us and get hands on experience creating your very own one of a kind ring or pendant using ancient wax carving techniques. This in person event is perfect for beginners or seasoned crafters alike. Wax carving gives you the creative freedom to design something so unique and sculptural(without needing to be a sculptor) You do not need a creative bone in your body. I will teach you different techniques to create beautiful textures and forms so you can make a one of a kind piece. The class will run for 2hours in a super relaxed environment. The class fee cover 6grams of silver. Your wax creation will be sent to a professional casting company to get cast in Sterling Silver. If you go over the included 6grams, I will invoice you the difference. During the class I will explain how to covert the weight of your wax into metal so you know if your within the 6gram range or so you have an idea how much extra the ring will be. An example of a 6gram ring is the diamond signet pictured above, UK size N. The turn around time for the casting is roughly 2 - 3 weeks, once the silver casts are back and cleaned up. I will post your stunning creations to your postal address.
